Which led to sharing some inside images of our toy cupboard.
Truth be told, I am embarrassed to share those raw pictures with you.
For two reasons –
1. Though I do not accept every toy that comes my way, I still think we have too many toys in spite of consciously and thoughtfully bringing in every toy home.
2. I am worried if it will intimidate any of you into thinking that one needs to have access to all the toys for the betterment of our children.
But I took that brave step to share those pictures, because I want you to know that you can trust my recommendations.
As a child, my family did not have much money when I was growing up, so my parents had to carefully choose for us. As an adult I understand that our hard earned money should go to the right place.
I do not suggest every toy that I like (though it might fit my children’s choice), I consider facts like durability, price point, alternate availability, purpose of the play, other ways to use the toy and much more.
I do the ground work and research for you.
That way you do not have to spend money on toys and books to later understand that it doesn’t suit your child or family.
And you do not have a toy overwhelm situation at your home.
Also you bring only the right toys to your children.
