If you know me well you know how much I love coconut milk. That is the Srilankan in me speaking.
So when there was this Kerala Food festival I couldn’t resist myself from being there.
The place was good and the tables were neatly set.
The buffet was getting ready while I was waiting in my table.
The waiters brought a soup and pakoda starters to our table.
I loved the coconut milk drumstick soup and raw mango pakodas.
I haven’t thought of drumstick in cocount milk to be this awesome soup even in my wildest dreams.
And the raw mango pakodas make you wish for rain and some chai. I would visit the place again just for the pakodas. Not exxagerating.
The spread was huge and were served in clay pots. More brownie points for that.
They did have traditional red rice along with sambhar and rasam.
I did skip it and tasted Vegetable biryani with corn raita. Heavenly is the word.
Loved their Olan and mango pachadi amongst the other few.
About the desserts, they did have varieties.
I loved the unniapam and parupu payasam.
Overall, I would recommend the place for a hearty meal.
